The name I have right now is "Uber Space". I've decided to use OpenGL to render the game, simply having texture mapped squares as the sprites. DirectX will be used for the other components. DirectPlay should be suitable for the type of online play I'm going for. Could anyone suggest some good books with a focus on DirectPlay?
I know it's a little premature to be thinking about my next project when Stompy has a little ways to go, but I've formulated some good ideas for the next game.
