Dev-C++ DirectX Package

I downloaded the Dev-C++ package that would allow DirectX 8.0 to work with Dev-C++. Would that package make Dev-C++ work with DirectX 9.0?

I just downloaded the new Beta version

. Its really cool. I looked at the updates and it never mentioned any package for DirectX so I figured they already have it in the program. Am I right?
