Hey everyone, after going through several bad experiences with trying to set up my compilers myself, I was wondering if anyone could help me out wiht this task. I have several things that I could use. I have Metrowerks CodeWarrior 8, DJGPP, Borland 5.5 Command Line, VS 2005 Express Beta, and I could get Dev C++ if someone thinks I should. I'm trying to set up my compilers so they work with windows and socks and everything else. Specifically, I'm trying to get them to compile the programs in Ron Penton's MUD Game Programming. I've tried to mess with enviroment variables, but that just doesnt work for me. I was wondering if anyone could give me some moron-safe step-by-step instructions on how to set any of those compilers up. Thanks! My AIM is samoz4 if it would be easier to talk to me there. Thanks for any help!
