Where to get good sound effects?

Hey, i am having a horrible time getting good explosions in my game. They need to be good quality and vary in length. Doing this with looping sounds like crap, im not sure how to do it other than having like 1000 different explosions, plz help if you have done this before and have found a way, or know where i can download a lot of free high quality sounds. Thanks
If you havn't yet, you could try browsing the sites on this list (scroll down a little for the free download category). If you don't find anything suitable for free there, you may have to go with either a commercial library, or look into hiring someone to record the sounds you need.
Note that A1 Sound Effects are only free for non-commercial usage if that matters to you.
