Can someone test my webserver please?

It's crap.. but it's only been worked on for sheesh! I dunno, 5 hours... I need to know if my IP tables are set up correctly... I can access the site fine from my network (Shared internet), yet the files download at 1000Mbits per second, instead of my internet connection's max upload rate (Which is quite considerably less!), so I assume Apache is detecting that the machine connecting is on a local network and bypassing the internet. So I basically have no idea if the whole thing is set up correctly.. please let me know if you can access the directories... http://binarystudio.hopto.org/

Gives me a timeout.

1000Mbits / s - that really is very quick. Do you really have a gigabit internet connection?

It's possible that you have your router incorrectly configured, or that "BT central plus" are blocking incoming port 80 TCP.

I do not have a 1000MBit internet connection, I wish!
SOme parts of my home network have 1000Mbit, some 100MBit.. the internet connection, however is a 2MBit ADSL line, pretty naff for hosting of any kind.

Thank you for testing and for the info of BT ISP blocking port 80.
I'm now using a different port number, so I hope this works.
Dave.
Assuming that you use windows XP, do check that the personal firewall doesn't block port 80.
No no no no! :)
I think my ISP blocks port 80, so I've changed apache and the DNS to use another port, also the firewall is set fine, so hopefully it works now, yet I have no way of testing it myself as all my machines use the same internet connection.
Works for me now. Saw your "newspage", and could access your files under http://81.153.110.189:8080/files/, so it seems to be set up correctly now.
Ah cool, excellent.. thanks everyone!
