Does anyone know where I could find a link page for free 3D models that are suitable for use in games. I can find lots of sprites, which is great, and I can find models that are very nice, but have a ridiculously high polygon count. (i.e. not suitable for games) Thanks.

Lots of sprites... but are they legally public domain or open source?
I think there is very very little of that for 3d or 2d, but try looking for GPL (or similar) games that offer up their model files. (creative commons license too)

www.turbosquid.com is by-far the best 3d model archive I know of. It offers both free 3d models, excellent models for purchase, textures, and more.
