Greetings to you all My game's title is "Fishing Fun" ========================================== The game description (from my site): Do you have your harpoon ready? If so, then go fishing! By catching fish and treasures, you earn money, and if you earn enough, you can go to the next level. Before each level, you can visit the store for buying various upgrades which will make your life a lot easier. I made the game in about two weeks in Visual Basic. I was strongly influenced by Harpoon Lagoon flash game. Game Features: 20 levels full of sea life and valuable treasures to catch! More valuable fish appear at higher levels! 17 different items, from depth charges to outboard engines! Enjoy random fish dialogue! 3 different song tracks. Choose your tune at any time! Original graphics and artwork created from scratch (yes the General Store stuff was drawn by pencil and scanned!). A humorous ending that will definitely leave you satisfied! ======================================== Here are 2 screens (scaled down): http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n251/myfefoyo84/fish_scr1.jpg http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n251/myfefoyo84/fish_scr2.jpg My website is http://vdweller.awardspace.com My game's URL is http://filexoom.com/files/2007/4/10/68530/FISHING_FUN.zip My email is emil_v_dweller@yahoo.com Thanks for reading, Vdweller.

Fishing Fun Version 1.2 is here! A few tweaks that make the game more balanced and easier overall, anchors at the bottom of the sea, some more fish dialogue, plus a little secret...involving Darth Vader!

Crash:
- I shot a fish
- hit "Options"
- activate antialiasing (IIRC)
- Go back.
- Hit "Help"
- As I went back it crashed.

No info nor log.

Apart from that, Z+X are not intuitive. Let the boat be moved with A+D numpad4+numpad6 and supr+avpag. That way, a first time player will find it without having to read the help.
The library used to make sprite rotations (w/ or w/out anti-aliasing) is Flomix Studios Advanced Graphics Routines 3.2. For some reason, on some systems, it crashes when it's activated, and this is why I didn't make it activated by default.

About the keys: Either way the player will have to read the Help File in order to find out more commands. The Z-X,A-S combination doesn't seem that bad, as far as I (and others who have played it and finished it) can say.
