I am confused about Windows Presentation Foundation. Is this supposed to be the vista replacement for GDI? Or is it just a way to program fancy 3D controls on a form? Since in vista everything uses hardware acceleration, do you think it is practical to use to make 3D tools? Or would you still use native directx as the rendering API for tools?
