I'll pitch in my set-up - very beginner.

Macbook - 8GB RAM
Logic Pro 9
Various Sample Packs
Logitech Soundblasters

Casio AP-33 Digital Piano
Shure SM57/58 mics
Alesis Multimix 4
A whole bunch of instruments

My lighting is usually a round paper lamp which does put me in a pretty good mood to work but now it's an office lamp with no bulb in! Got a few plants around the room as well.

Might take a pic at some point

Cool idea! Here's my set up:

4 HDDs 3.680 TB of space
2 24inch widescreen Viewsonic monitors
2 JBL 3-way speaker monitors
MOTU 896 mk3 audio interface
Technics reciever
Pic of Woodstock
Pic of NASA space shuttle (I've had that pic since 1st grade!)
Signed pic of 2007-8 VGL concert
Real Book (illegal version)
(Not pictured Kobi my white lab puppy)

I'm planning on eventually redoing my basement into a full studio... but that's gonna take some more time and money. Anyone wanna donate?!

I knew eventually you were gonna chime in and put us all to shame Nathan! Great space though, my cat's usually all over my desk too. Makes for a good sound design companion.

Put you to shame? Nah!! My cat stays away from the office because the puppy lives there. They're not super friends yet...

Haha, my girlfriend's dog won't come near me while I'm working. Last time he tried that I was working on a warfare piece and in an attempt to duplicate the sound of ears ringing I think I offended his super hearing.

To keep this true to the original Ableton forum thread please include pictures of cats. Anyone who's into sound or music knows that cats are the most important component of any audio setup.
