Hey guys,

Well I wanted to start learning about C++ and more in depth Java language, Mainly because when I graduate from High School I want to go to college for Computer Science.. My first project when I get the money for it is going to be make my own computer by myself. I want to learn Java because I am interested in Game Design (For example the MMORPG Runescape) I would love to learn that because it fascinates me how code works and how simple commands to great things.. My point is does anyone know any good Websites? eBooks? Books in general that would help me in Java and C++? C++ mainly for the programming because I find that very interesting as well as Gaming and Web Design (Currently a Junior in High School and am taking Computer Graphics and Web Design courses)

So if you guys know anything please let me know,
Thanks!

~Mike

How'd you get such a generic username?

But as always, I'd recommend Bucky Roberts, especially for Java.

Easiest way to make games, I love LÖVE && My dev blog/project

*Too lazy to renew domain, ignore above links

You can start here for both C++ and Java books. Though for C++ you must absolutely get the Bjible eventually. Though maybe wait on that one as the 4th edition is coming with C++11.
