I just put on "The Way of the Gun" and forgot about the first part. That part is one of my favorite movie moments where they start hitting the girls instead of going for the men. The director said it was an idea he had when he though he was going to be in the real live version. If anything happens, go for the wemen. Were going to get our asses kicked anyway but the guy have to take the girls home and deal with them. So what are your favorite movie moments?

I probably have plenty more favorite movie moments, but the first that comes to mind is in the movie Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark , where Indy is chasing after Marian and is confronted by a man in a black turban brandishing a sword all fancy-like. Indy just takes out his gun and shoots him. Not only was it the funniest thing I ever saw (cause I never saw it coming) the truth behind it all is even better. On the day that shot was filmed, Harrison Ford was having some sort of stomach problem (or something that had put him in a grouchy mood) and he was actually scripted to fight the guy hand-to-hand. But he was so out of it that he just pulled the gun and shot him. The director loved it and kept it in the movie

Good one Gaiiden, I remember that.

Pulp Fiction is such a rapid succession of great moments you almost cannot tell one from the other. From "Sorry, did I break your concentration" to Mia''s OD treatment, from the gun that went off in the wrong place to "Zed''s dead baby, Zed''s dead", the movie is such a ride.

I also liked the ending of "Rennt Lola Rennt": "Was hast du in die Tasche?", hehe

These two are my favorites because they are delivered with such understatement.

Jaws:
Sherrif Brody, in shock after seing the shark for the first time: "Your going to need a bigger boat"
(This was apparently ad libbed!)

Contact:
Hadden asking Arroway if she wants to travel in The Machine: "Wanna take a ride?"

"Shut that cunt''s mouth before I come over there and fuck-start her head!" Ahh, I loved that line.

Also notable from Way Of The Gun was in Mexico at the hotel, when Parker dives into the fountain to take cover and you just hear this sound of breaking glass. So anticlimatic, it was great.

The final scene from the movie Rushmore, actually almost every scene from Rushmore. If you haven''t seen that movie I would say go see it NOW.

The Indiana Jones scene is my absolute favorite.

The only actual redeeming line in the latest STNG movie:
Data: "In an emergency, I may also be used as a flotation device."

Last Starfighter:
Alex: "They''re all dead?"
Grig: "I prefer to think of them as fighting evil... in another dimension."

One of the few redeeming features of X-Men the movie:
Scott, in response to Logan''s complaints about their outfits:
"You would prefer yellow spandex?"

UHF:
*in the office where Weird Al is being held by the bad guy, a bad guy hears rustling in a closet marked "Supplies", bad guy opens it*
Weird Al''s Japanes Martial Arts teacher friend: "Supplies!"
*he ducks, one of his students jumps over him and kicks the bad guy in the face*

Speed 2. The only, and I do mean only, redeeming feature of the movie is when the oil tanker blows up... if you look closely you will see a white cow with black spots tumbling end-over-end out of the explosion (yes, I did find that on my own... *grin*).

In real life there was a distress case, where a train had hit a cow going 125 mph (it doesn''t matter whether it was the train or the cow, all motion is relative), the cow fell apart due to the impact, the head flew through somebody''s window and landed in a bath they were running.
Well, train tracks at the bottom of your garden and cows in a nearby field, an accident poised on the brink of happening the whole time.

Surprisingly not a lot of people laughed in the theatre at that. Fools. Everyone knows what Wolverine wore in the comics!

My two favorites lines and best scene in the movie:

Logan to Cyclops: "Keep your eye open."

Logan: "whoa whoa, it''s me."
Cyclops: "prove it."
Logan: "you''re a dick."

and when Wolverine sheaths all but his middle claw at Cyclops.

Yeah the movie was kinda "eh" but it had it''s good parts.

I found Storm''s lines just... confusing.

"What happens to a toad when it gets struck by lighting?" repartee goes in the "things that make you go wha?" category.

I always thought Storm was the coolest in the comics but they made her kind of suck in the movie, she was powerful and all, but I always liked her eloquence in the comics. I guess the actress just couldn''t remember enough lines to make her more true to character. *wry smile*

Rio Bravo: The scene where lawmen John Wayne and Dean Martin chase a killer into a saloon. The way Martin''s drunken character redeems himself in front of his friend and the people who previously huniliated him is impressive.

The Big Sleep: The scene where Bogie and Bacall discuss horse-racing. The dialog in this movie is unsurpassed, and this scene has the best.

The Man Who Would be King: Pick a scene, any scene.

This is Spinal Tap: It''s not the most gut-busting laugh in the movie, but I just really love the part where one of the Tap''s is playing the piano for Meat-head, a beautiful little melody, going on about how e-minor is such a lovely key (or something like that, forgive my musical ignorance), and Reiner asks him the name of the peice, and he responds "I call it ''Lick My Love Pump''"

Good stuff. Had a decent line where a guy ask him if he is
ready and responds "are you?" and then kicks some ass
