I know there's work being done to get SDL to work on Windows Phone 8/8.1. I know there was a port of Doom made to test the library but I couldn't find any more... recent news on the situation.

Can it be used for normal development on Phone 8.1 or does it still need some extra tweaking to get it running properly?
