Sector 13 Story:
The human race is expanding, and Sector 13 is the frontier. The Confederacy of Nations has set up a charter unique to Sector 13, wherein it states that corporations, and only corporations, may lay claim to land within Sector 13, as long as they hold true to the trade agreements that enrich the Confederacy with the spoils.
Generations have passed since the charter's inception. Now Sector 13 is controlled by the four remaining nation-state corporate entities, with conflicts between these powerhouses being frequent and bloody. Mercenaries have now entered the conflict.
