Pardon the brevity. Hopefully the entry explains it well... that was... surprising to say the least! (you don't often get to see everyone awake and in the streets up to 2AM!)

Bad progress today :(

Well day 4 is up, I wasn't quite as productive today but I did get the things done that I had aimed to get done:

* Levels now progress smoothly from one to the other

* The basic shadow mechanism works, although it's not very pretty at the moment visually speaking.

For day 5 I plan to get some text rendering implemented for dialog and stats, with triggers for the dialog. That might be all I manage to do tomorrow. Buuut if I do make it past that then I'll be circling back to improve the evolution mechanic and raise the bar by adding a few more varieties.

I just about have a viable entry at this point though, if all I did was knock out a few levels with what I have implemented so far then I think it would rack up some judging points here and there.

it would work, but you'd be able to do effectively nothing at the moment. I've been putting in to much foundation work, i'm hoping it'll pay off tomorrow and their will be an actual game by the end of tomorrow :P
