Working with other devs remotely VS In-person?

What are some pros and cons of either approach?

I've pretty much decided the only way I'll work with others is if they are local and we can physically meet up and have proper meetings / swap assets / sign the appropriate notarized contracts. Which leads me to question #2… where do all the game devs tend to reside?

If they're not near you, you would have to relocate. And that would be inadvisable for the near future because of the pandemic and the lack of a vaccine for the next year or more. So you should stay where you live now…

But then, physical meetups are a problem anyway. Maybe this summer meetups will be moderately safe, with safety measures, but social distancing will probably be necessary again next winter (since a vaccine still won't be available).

I think you see where my advice is leaning…
