How does the expensive online “expo” work?
GDC 2021 is happening - online
Don't know about the expo. Presentations work as expected. They start as scheduled with speakers present for questions. After the presentation is out you can watch them on demand later if you missed it.
If you paid for it, you might already have your answer, but it's a joke, it's just a pannel page with llinks logos and linkedin stuff. Company bios and such.
What a waste.

That's pathetic. This is the Game Developers Conference. For US$320, they should have had something like, say, a game world. At least BreakRoom or SineSpace or a few temporary regions in Second Life.
I just logged in to take another look, and they have promo videos, and some have links to jobs.
There are links to loads of videos and sessions by those exhibitors, but that is a good way to tease you if you just have an expo pass and can't view teh sessions.
We are paying for the privilege to be advertised to.
