Whenever I press play, the game seems to register my click twice -- first to start the game, and then to place and X on the middle-right square.
Known issue. I will fix it. But how are the new graphics?

Have you thought of doing ultimate tic tac toe?
I didn't. Because this game of tic tac toe is just for learning and I don't want to go so complex yet. :)
probably test your code before releasing an update
you are right, but testing may be difficult sometimes.
