Does anyone know really comprehensive old fashion Adventure game libraries around ? I have seen some COOL engine couple of months ago somewhere, and it supported LOTS of cool things, like CD-drive manipulating, MPEG video, sounds (also 3D), advanced blitting functions (for old fashion "perspective" system... character walks up, and shrinks at same time with same function, without creator having anything to worry about)... I mean, ready made engine, that could be used to create game just by plotting art and loading bitmaps / other functions ? Do you people know any place where I could find archive of freeware engines for whatever - genre ? I have seen engines just time-to-time allwhere, but I have never seen archived site... One site had two RTS engines, ala WarCraft II & C&C.

It's good to be an outcast, you don't need to explain what you do, you just do it and say you don't belong there.
Perhaps I have misunderstood your message, but SCRAMM, http://www.scramm.org is an ambitious freeware SCUMM-stlye adventure game creation program that''s soon to be released. Check it out!
