After working with Android OpenGL ES, I got fairly comfortable using it. Since Android has a lack of dungeon crawler games at this time, I figured I would create one. Here is a video of my current progress. It will be a mix of Dungeon Hack, Diablo, and roguelikes. The current title is Deadly Dungeons. Let me know if you have a better title I could use.

Games looking pretty good! Whats the lore going to be? I might be able to think up a name for you =P

How long have you worked on the game to achieve what you have in the video?

I've worked on it off and on for the last month. It is fairly easy to get things done quickly if you plan out what you are going to do beforehand. I have also been working with an artist. All the gameplay graphics are done at this time. I've just been adding everything in.

There isn't a great deal of lore to speak of. I think when creating worlds, it is best to limit things to the current work in progress. This makes it easy to expand the world later without having to worry about previous content as much.

The basic premise of the game is that you are part of a small party of inexperienced adventurers. While passing through a small mountain town, your party hears stories about sightings of undead creatures around a nearby abandoned temple.

Your party sets out to investigate the temple. On the way there, the ground gives way under you, and you fall down a deep shaft. You awake later to find yourself alone in a dark cavern.

At that point, your goal is to escape the cavern and locate your fellow adventurers.
