Hello there! It's Saturday again! Time for your favourite Weekly Update blog! This week I was lightheaded. There were a lot of things happening lately. I simply didn't have much focus.

So this means that this is going to be a short and sweet post.

Minor Updates

  • Added better details to the 9th jungle challenge:
    • Fixed a bunch of alignment problems with the challenge's geometries;
    • Added a bunch of vegetation throughout the path;
    • Fenced-off the central pond with a wooden fence:
      • I've also added invisible walls to dissuade cheeky cheaters from cheating the challenge.
  • Reshaded most of the gun models for consistency:
    • Now, these models are much more "low-poly" than before.
  • Refactored additional GUI elements.

Next Week

For next week I'm planning on finishing refactoring the GUI elements. Hopefully, we could get a 50% FPS boost, but I have to work hard on this.

I'm also planning on starting working on the public demo if I still got time. I was able to document all of the feedback I got from my patrons, but now there's only one big milestone insight: the demo!

And that's about it for this week. It was quite a relaxed week, but there's a lot of preparations for Christmas, hence the light workload.

But anyway, now that everything is settled, I'm hoping for a better performance next week!

So, see you next week and take care!
