It's that time again, yes - the OS reinstall calls! I'm clearing up all my crap, emptying out all the garbage that normally collects over the months and readying for a reinstall. This time, I'm going to dual boot with FreeBSD.

GMT: 21:21 30/11/2004 - Wish me luck, I'm going to format mah drive ^_-

See you on the other side...

Are you just reinstalling, or reformatting the drives? From what I remember, dual OSs almost always require separate partitions, so I'm assuming its the latter.

Yeah, I remember reformatting. I didn't WANT to, but I didn't have much of a choice, did I? Come to think of it, I should make a backup soon... and get a new drive to keep all my personal crap (ie, no downloads, no installs) on. Yeah, that would be a good idea, wouldn't it?

Reformat, baybeh! I have my C drive split into 3 partitions and my 'D' drive for other crap. So I'm copying everything I'll ever need over to D and will format C and split it equally between windows and FreeBSD.

I have megs upon megs of source code downloaded, bloody Java Nebeans and SDKs as wells as a couple of *nix isos all sat there eating space. You watch, I'll delete something I didn't mean to. It's sod's law.

Good luck, I suggest you take a look at GAG - Graphical Boot Manager. It's awesome for having multiple OSs. Y
