Got some work done on ChemHex last night. One of the beta testers suggested that having a molecule count would be nice. While this does relate somewhat to gameplay, I didn't feel it was really necessary, but I put it in anyway, as doing so was not exactly a difficult task, or so I thought. Turns out, the interface in ChemHex was incredibly tight, and I wound up having to resize and rearrange the interface(again) to accomodate the new statistic. On the plus side, I now have room for a tooltip area, which is nice to have.
