Just something I've noticed.

Is it just me, or are web comic artists the most sickly members of the human race?

This statement is so ill-worded that I don't know where to start.

By "web-comics", are you referring to comic-strip web pages like PVP and Penny Arcade? If so, is it the comics that are sick or the writers?

If not, are you using the word "web-comic" to refer to some kind of comedian who peddles his wares on the internet?

I presume you're referring to the first and to the comic strips themselves and not the writers. In that case, I couldn't disagree more. I find most web-comics to be bland, devoid of comic timing, and as artful and proportioned as a sketch of Sailor Moon drawn during biology class.

My current favorite webcomic is this one, which is a sad commentary on the industry given that the current comic was drawn 52 years ago.

I suppose I'm referring mainly to Rich Burlew and Pete Abrams, who seems to be sick almost constantly.
