Anyone know how to do this using VFW and not DirectShow? Can you lead me to references/samples/ tutorials? I can't seem to find anything around that helpful especially to a complete noob on AVI rendering. Thanks

Use Windows Media Player controls. Put control on form load and play.

But what means no GUI? No window at all? Or SDI, MDI application? DirectX/Open GL full screen application? Every approach have its own solution...
