The exclamation mark serves as a camera controller and as a way to start a particular lab. The player will click on the exclamation mark (which will be moving up and down slowly and glow when the mouse is over it) and the lab will start/the camera will move into position.

This was modeled in Blender and quickly UV mapped. The UV mapping was done with smart projections... I applied a texture material to the model and generated a quick seamless texture using Genetica. I then exported it as a .X file (DirectX mesh) and used the 3D World Studio model converter to get it into the world studio program. The render you see is form 3D World Studio.

Eventually this will be done in Ogitor and a trigger will be set (once I program that!). Then the engine will be able to perform a script to start the lab when the exclamation mark is clicked by the user.

For a control scheme we are tempted to use a point and click adventure control system...
