  • Black-Rook's Journal logo+%20bullet.png - Black-Rook hasn't had much free time to work but presents a quick snapshot of progress for his classic RPG project
  • Once a Bird - Demosthenes has a video and description of the grenades recently added to Graveyard Shift
  • Journal of Lethargic Programmers - cameni and crew have finally released a tech demo for their Outerra global terrain engine couple with the alpha release of their game Anteworld. Awesome and about time! Go check out the demo stat, this engine is pretty darn beautiful.
  • Every Semicolon - Matt Carr has been recording himself develop his game and has been posting the videos on YouTube. Some are two hours long. He's wondering if anyone finds them interested and/or informative so he can fine tune the production as he's looking to capture the process of making a game for others to maybe learn from.
  • Net Gnome's Vaerydian Journal - Net Gnome's latest update on Vaerydian includes code excerpts from his AI, QuadTree for spatial partinioning of objects and new health system along with a video of all the additions in action.
  • Crawling with ideas - ManTis has begin tinkering around with the Commodore 64 platform
  • Necron00bicon - jjd has a brief update on upcoming work to Brotherhood of the Coast as well as a short video demonstrating the project's mesh viewer
  • Journal of Aardvajk - Aardvajk has begun work on a new project, an AABB 3D platformer
  • The Bag of Holding - ApochPiQ has some more progress to report on his Epoch language, namely an overhaul of structure definitions as well as a retooling of variable definition/initialization, all coming in Release 12
  • Life at Demergo Studios - toddbluhm has a general update on the progress of Fixbot in this entry but earlier in the week other team members have also spoken up about memory management on iDevices and the oft-forgotten role of the level designer
  • Pixel ? Tile ? World logo+%20bullet.png - Servant of the Lord has some new artwork from AdventureFar to showcase

  • LoreHunter's Journal - LoreHunter refers back to the Supreme Court decision last June that games are art and wants to re-open the discussion. What do you feel? Are games really art? Are you happy they are finally recognized as such? He invites comments
  • New Old Things - Endurion adds two more enemies to his Commodore 64 game, Frankenstein's monster and a slime
  • There is no escape from the Washu - Washu tears into Microsoft regarding the decisions they have made regarding the UI changes with VS11 and the amount of support they are offering to the newer C++ standards
