Hello!

This is the eighteenth entry of my development blog for my project 'Tracked Mind'.

It's been around a month since last post and it has been a productive month. I realized that it might be tricky to remember certain codes or passwords that you might find throughout the game, so I added the ability to interact with notes or numbers that adds the codes to your Journal. A new monster with new animations have been added. It's essentially a wooden mannequin, partly possessed by the main protagonist. This monster will be featured in a smaller part of the game.

To add some more immersion to the game I added weapon sway to all weapons, for instance the Player's arms will sway/move when turning. I found that it gives a certain feel to the game, and it makes the main character feel more like a real person. I also tweaked the camera movement while aiming down the sights of the firearms while at it. New bullet holes have been added and different bullet holes will appear depending on the hit material.

I've added a few screenshots of the progress further down in this post.

So in short, I've focused on giving the movement/character a nicer and stable feel. To me it's starting to feel like those parts of the game are almost complete, which is always nice :)

I'm going to make another playable version were you all can try it, and see how you feel about it. That is my main goal at the moment, hopefully I can make a version were you can get a feel for the story and tempo of the game.

Thanks!
