Hello!

I am making my first game. I initiated the game dev idea with my friend on 8/26 and we planned some things but we officially started on 9/8 where I made half of the roadmap for the game dev plan. We had our first meeting on 9/10 on Discord. We talked about how to use ClickUp to organize everything. Later that week, we narrowed down to 5 game ideas and decided to make a 2D game. The 9/17 meeting was canceled. Later that week we decided to use Godot due to the Unity drama. The 9/24 meeting was canceled. Later that day we decided on 1 game idea after listing some pros and cons. It's a game about exploring dreams and nightmares and finding the source of all the nightmares. We also figured out our roles but since none of us know how to make music, we decided to leave that out until later. We had our meeting today and it was the most productive session yet. Yesterday we finished many research tasks and today we talked about asking someone else for art and music. We also discussed the storyline, main character, and other game details like mechanics and genres, and figured out the general concept. I think we are pretty much on track. The only thing left for me to do now is to learn Godot and GDscript by next week or maybe in 2 weeks. My friend has to ask her friend for art, and maybe learn some other things as well. I will be trying to update this weekly as I am a full-time student and don't have much time to work on the game. Hopefully, I will have the entire storyline done by next week!
